Netflix’s upcoming crime series trailer Khaki: The Bihar Chapter Was released by streamer today. The series stars Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwari, Ashutosh Rana, Anup Soni, Ravi Kishan and others, and is slated to release on November 25.
In 2004, in a crime-ridden Bihar, a clash of epic proportions took place between IPS Amit Lodha and local mafia don, Chandan. Produced by Neeraj Pandey, Directed by Bhav Dhulia and Produced by Friday Storytellers, Khaki: The Bihar Chapter Presents the real picture of the violence in which Bihar was embroiled in.
khakiInspired by true events, based on the book by Amit Lodha. It traces the birth of a supercop, the birth of a supervillain, and their eventual struggle.
Speaking on the series, Neeraj Pandey said, “The combination of state, politics, police and crime is the core of this series. It was a unique lens to look at this genre and the franchise. This season, we have tried to create and show a narrative that is familiar yet relatively vague. The dynamism between the cop and the criminal lends itself to a fascinating drama of emotion and thrill, all credit to my writer Umashankar Singh and director Bhav Dhulia. The team led by him has brought this story to the fore in a very unique and special way. I am happy with the way the series has shaped up and I hope we will be able to excite the audience with it.”
