Kia EV6 Scores Full 5 Star Rating NCAP Crash Test Results in Australia

The Kia EV6 scored 90 percent in adult occupant protection, 87 percent in child occupant protection and 64 percent in weak road user protection. The car scored 88 percent in the Safety Assist system on board, earning a high safety rating overall.

The Kia EV6 has been crash tested by Australia NCAP (ANCAP) and the electric crossover has received a full five star safety rating. The all-electric offering scored 34.48 out of 38 available in Adult Occupant Protection and 42.96 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. The tests further concluded that road user safety was rated at 64 percent while safety assist features were rated as high at 88 percent. The announcement comes a few days before the model will go on sale in India and adds to the strong suite of offerings going forward.
