Kisan Garjana Rally: Delhi Police issued traffic advisory, check the routes to avoid December 19

Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Kisan Garjan Rally on Monday, 19 December. This rally is being organized on the call of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and will be organized at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heavy traffic jam in the surrounding areas. To ease vehicular movement and provide smooth passage to commuters, the Delhi Traffic Police has imposed certain restrictions and diversions from 9 am on Monday.

Sharing the update on Twitter, Delhi Traffic Police wrote, “Traffic advisory, elaborate traffic arrangements have been put in place on the occasion of Kisan Garjan Rally being organized at Ramlila Maidan on 19.12.22. Citizens are advised to plan their movement.” Plan accordingly.” Delhi Police in its advisory has given a list of diversions, restrictions and instructions for the general public.

Instructions to general public:

Drivers should avoid routes and/or overhangs.

It is recommended that travelers should reach the airport and train stations well in advance.

Commuters have been urged to avoid roadside parking and only use approved parking areas.

To reduce traffic on roadways, the traffic department also advised people to use public transport.

Residents are urged to report any strange or unfamiliar things or people immediately.
