There is a rise in marriage and other auspicious works from Basant Panchami.

The state home department later issued an order saying that the ban on the participation of 250 people in marriage ceremonies is being withdrawn with immediate effect. However, the order stressed that the use of face masks and hand sanitisers would be necessary for those attending such events, apart from following social distancing.
