KS Chitra sends musical tribute to late Lata Mangeshkar – Times of India

KS Chitra, who also knows Lata Mangeshkar personally, penned a heartwarming note on the demise of the iconic singer. “Today India has lost its voice. A voice that defined Indian music for generations. Lataji has enriched our lives for decades with her soulful voice. His legacy is unparalleled. Lataji may not be with us physically, but her voice will live on in our hearts. Salutations to Maa Saraswati 🙏,” KS Chitra said in his note.

The legendary singer, who entertained millions of music lovers with her divine voice for eight decades, breathed her last on Sunday morning (February 6). Dr Pratat Samdani, who is treating her at the hospital, told the media, “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lata Mangeshkar at 8:12 am. #COVID1 After more than 28 days of hospitalization He died due to multi-organ failure.The iconic singer was cremated with full state honors in Mumbai on Sunday.
