Kyiv: Police: Over 900 civilian bodies found in Kyiv region – Times of India

KYIV: Bodies of over 900 civilians discovered Kyiv Area after the withdrawal of the Russian army, territorial police chief said at a briefing on Friday.
Andrey Nebitov, the head of Kyiv’s regional police force, said bodies were left on the streets or buried temporarily. He cited police figures indicating that 95% of people died from gunshot wounds.
“As a result, we understand that under (Russian) occupation, people were simply executed on the streets,” Nebitov said.
He said more bodies were being found every day under the rubble and in mass graves.
