To give a boost to the tourism industry in Ladakh, the three-day long Horse Polo Festival 2022 began in Leh on 16 July. The festival was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department in collaboration with the local communities. A large number of participants participated in the program taking part in the festive spirit. Masked dance, archery and polo performances also become the center of attraction. The Horse Polo festival is celebrated annually in Leh.
