Last surviving terrorist involved in 2019 Pulwama attack killed in Anantnag encounter India News – Times of India

Srinagar: IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the last of the survivors involved in the 2019 attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama has been killed in an encounter in Anantnag.
He said Sameer Dar, a top Jaish commander, was killed along with two others in an encounter on December 30.
According to Kumar, Dar was the last survivor of the February 14, 2019 attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were martyred, when an explosive-laden vehicle rammed their convoy at Lethpora in Pulwama.
Dar was suspected to be among the three people killed in the encounter that took place in Anantnag’s Dooru on December 30 as he resembled the photographs in the police records. His identity was confirmed after a DNA test.
