Professor Timothy Lubin drew from the Upanishads to explain the grand cosmic concept of “dharma”. He said that power is the power that rules over power. “Therefore, it is the sovereignty of the law that prevails. Religion is the ruler of both the people and the rulers themselves. Religion is really “what is right and truth” and there is nothing higher than religion,” he was quoted as saying by the university. it was done.

“Rajdharma actually corresponds to the “rule of law” which forms the basis of our Constitution and reigns supreme”, says Professor Madabhushi Sridhar Acharyulu, Dean- School of Law, Mahindra University.

In his presentation, Prof. Timothy Lubin illustrated three key elements that were brought together in the earliest Sanskrit texts on religion: rules of ritual practice based on old Vedic priestly manuals; the rules of royal policy and legal process from the tradition that created the Arthashastra; And customary norms, mainly of various Brahmin male officials, but (theoretically) also of women and other groups, claim a variety of press releases.
