Veteran playback singer Bhupinder Singh, who sang several Bollywood songs in his heavy bass voice, died in Mumbai on Monday evening, his wife and singer Mithali Singh said. His wife Mithali told IANS: “He was suffering from several health complications including urinary problems for some time.”

Further details including the funeral arrangements for the 82-year-old singer are awaited. Singh is remembered for his memorable songs in the films “Mausam”, “Satte Pe Satta”, “Ahista Ahista”, “Dooriyan”, “Haqeeqat” and many more.
