Use of Rupee in the United Arab Emirates

The agreement between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to help increase the circulation of rupee in the Gulf countries, if implemented swiftly and immediately, could ease the hardships of the large Indian diaspora in the UAE . In the present situation, the use and contribution of rupee in global trade is very low. India will now have to ensure that the sour relations with UAE are removed and a strong bilateral relationship is built.

The episode where hate speech and inappropriate comments in India almost led to a diplomatic crisis with Gulf countries should not be repeated.

The multidimensional global crisis triggered by the Russia-Ukraine war and sanctions on Russia has taught the international community important lessons. Bilateral trade in local currencies may prove to be an important element in the newly emerging international order, where nations are less dependent on any one currency and have the freedom to conduct their financial trade more quickly and freely in their own currencies. it occurs. India needs to push the idea of bilateral trade in local currencies more strongly and promote rupee trade with more and more countries.

anyhow

Our politicians, especially those of the ruling party, do not miss any opportunity to launch a high-profile campaign against “illegal immigrants” in India. In contrast, when citizens of our country try to immigrate illegally to countries like the US and suffer, the people who matter remain silent. The Page 1 report, “In Gujarat, illegal immigration to US continues unabated” (July 16) is a grim reminder about the suffering of illegal immigrants. It is hoped that the Government of India will launch an awareness campaign about the dangers of illegal immigration.

One can only imagine the plight of the families who would have absolutely no idea about the whereabouts of such migrants. It is surprising how the hardships of illegal migrants have not deterred other potential ‘migrants’ from taking on very risky adventures. Earning ₹1,000 in your motherland without any fear and risk is much better than dreaming of earning $1,000 on foreign soil.

kuno cheetah

The recent death of cheetahs in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park, the eighth such death so far, has left many people stunned and unable to understand what is going wrong. Violent fights and infections and diseases are being told behind this. The total cost of this project has been estimated at several crores. Since it is taxpayers’ money, we need a proper answer.

Vidyut Kumar Chatterjee,

Moving animals to new and unfamiliar habitats across continents without proper scientific study has possibly resulted in deaths. India has enough wildlife of its own which it is not able to take care of properly. Did the cheetahs need to be brought in?

The mortality rate of cheetahs in Kuno is alarming and a cause of grave concern. The authorities need to act fast to save the remaining cats.

Now all kinds of reasons are being told, in which the latest reason is the infection caused by radio collars on animals.

Are cats that delicate? Was the heavy Indian monsoon a factor that was well considered?
