We drove the 2022 Lexus UX300e electric crossover and here’s what TOI auto editor Arpit Mahendra thought about the Japanese EV. The UX300e gets a sharp aerodynamic design and certainly looks just as attractive as its ICE counterpart. As for this electric variant, it is equipped with a 54.3kWh battery pack that offers 315km WLTP-rated range on a full charge. The front-mounted motor produces 206 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. The EV also gets an 8-year or 100,000-mile warranty on the battery. In terms of features, it comes loaded with an electric sunroof, regenerative braking, active sound control, 7-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six-speaker audio system and 360-degree camera. A head-up display on a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with navigation and Lexus Safety System+ is also on board. However, Lexus is yet to announce any plans to bring the UX300e to India.
