Liquor carrying SUV hit the bike, two youths died. Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Two youths were killed when an SUV carrying liquor rammed into a motorcycle in Sewaniya village of Singwad taluka of Dahod district. The body of one of the victims was partially burnt as the motorcycle in which he was traveling caught fire.
The accident happened on Thursday afternoon when the motorcycle was hit by a speeding SUV. It is believed that the vehicle which has been registered Panchmahali Coming from somewhere around Mithibor in Chhotaudepur. Both the victims were also residents of Mithibor.
Sagatla Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) AA Rathwa Told that after being hit by the SUV, the motorcycle fell into a rainy drain near the road. one of the young men, Sandeep Rathwad died on the spot and fell into the storm drain. The PSI said that Sandeep’s body was partially burnt when the motorcycle caught fire.
Rathwa said a team of forensic experts would visit the spot and ascertain the cause of the fire. Prima facie it looked like petrol might have leaked from the fuel tank of the motorcycle and caught fire. other youth bhopin rathwa was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the SUV fled after the incident. Police have registered a case of accident against unknown driver. A separate offense will also be registered for smuggling of liquor as around 14 crates of Indian-made foreign liquor were found inside the SUV.
