Andhra Pradesh BJP president Somu Veeraraju has promised voters that if his party gets one crore votes, they will provide liquor for just Rs 75. He further assured to reduce the promised rate to Rs 50 “if there is more revenue left”.

“Give one crore votes to the Bharatiya Janata Party, we will provide liquor for just Rs 75. If we have more revenue left, we will provide liquor for just Rs 50,” Veeraraju said in Vijayawada on Tuesday.

The BJP president further said that one crore people in the state were consuming liquor at a higher price and asked them to vote for the BJP for cheap liquor in the 2024 assembly elections in the state.

He alleged that substandard liquor is being sold at exorbitant prices in connivance with the leaders of the ruling party in the state.

Referring to some direct benefit transfer schemes of the state government, the BJP leader said that on an average a person consumes liquor around Rs 12,000 per month and Jagan Mohan Reddy is collecting all that amount and returning it in the name of one scheme. are giving.

Veeraraju asserted that the BJP is committed to make Amaravati the capital and develop the region in just three years, if voted to power. Describing the Communists as a barking dog, Veeraraju alleged that the Left parties destroyed the country.
