Pakistan, on the other hand, have built up a systematic bowling line-up and if the batsmen can follow the example of the bowlers, the team can give a tough fight to the Mithali Raj-led side. Notably, Pakistan have not won the last two ODI World Cups, and are far from being the favorites in this tournament.
In the last edition of the 2017 Women’s World Cup, India lost to England in the final. And this time, India will be keen to go a step ahead and claim a title they haven’t got, especially for skipper Mithali Raj and veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami, who will be playing his last World Cup.
