The Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared a related draft bill to repeal all three agricultural law That thousands of farmers have been protesting for more than a year at various border points in Delhi.

New avenues were provided for farmers to trade their produce, without taking away the existing mechanism available to them. Moreover, the farmers were free to choose the avenues of their choice, where they could get a higher price for their produce without any compulsion.
The bill states, “Though only a group of farmers are opposing these laws, the government, through several meetings and other forums, made great efforts to make farmers aware of the importance of agricultural laws and their merits. have tried.”
The copy of the bill states that the government is making several interventions to support farmers, including small and marginal farmers, by providing quality seeds, loans, insurance, procurement and market support.
The budget allocation for the agriculture department has been increased by more than five times since 2014.
