Vivek’s amiable presence and some extraordinary performances aside, this unscripted Tamil show is more raucous than a comedy.

And that’s a very serious question for anyone, especially if you put in an inspiring group of Tamil comedians like Pugaaz, Premagi Amren, Harathi and Powerstar Srinivasan. With each other’s faces on each other all the time, this unscripted reality comedy show delivers some really funny ‘counter dialogues’ (answer comments) and Mokka Jokes that make you want to punch the contestants. But to reach it, you need to sit in the emptiness for a few minutes.
The biggest problem with a show like this is its unscripted nature, which can go on for a long time if there isn’t too much. If it does, it is because someone is teasing someone or pulling someone’s leg, to make the other person smile.
But what audience?
hardly… because laugh out loud OTT is not like watching series or shows; It’s just like one of the timepass television shows that aired during festival holidays (for Pongal, get an actor to drive a tractor, or for Diwali, get an actress to set off a rocket. .. get the drift?) Here, you get hideous costumes (sample: Powerstar Srinivasan dresses like a woman), jokes that get repeated too many times and some mundane performances.
A few things stand out in the show: The performances of a few contestants like Pugaz, Satish and Abhishek Kumar are one of them. If Pugaz and Abhishek tried to experiment with their looks and used the space on the sets to showcase their skills, Satish impressed with just one outfit throughout the show and stunned everyone with a witty statement. Responded to comments. His ‘counter’, as he is known in the comedy business, was one of the best on the show.
The other aspect, of course, is the hosting/decision made by Vivek and Shiva. While the humor between the two doesn’t work to the extent it should have, Vivek is happy to see – who died earlier this year – Let your guard down (he’s the senior most comic of many), have fun and indulge in some harmless pranks. Her laughing face is her most attractive image LOL: Enga Siri Paappom. It has a message for all of us and that is to keep smiling no matter what happens around us.
