Long coronavirus symptoms: Three long COVID symptoms that can affect sexual performance

The new study, published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), looked at and evaluated more than 500,000 people who were infected with the coronavirus. It was found that the participants complained of experiencing low libido and difficulty in ejaculation. In addition, the researchers also found that hair loss was a common long-term problem associated with decreased sexual health.

According to Dr Sanghvi, Clinical Technology Lead at Lloydspharmacy Online Doctor, “In my experience as a doctor, all these symptoms can affect men’s self-confidence and thus, their sex life.”

“Ever since this research came out, interest in the link between prolonged covid and these symptoms has skyrocketed,” he says.

In addition, the doctor added: “Google search volume showed the question ‘Whether erectile dysfunction due to covid’ was up 650 percent in the week, while searches for ‘long covid hair loss’ increased by 130 percent Hui.”

“In my view, this is proof that this is something men are really concerned about.”

That said, it is important not only to understand these symptoms in detail, but also to know how to deal with these problems. Dr. Sanghvi also gives the same advice.
