Arun Kumar, chief of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), is set to retire at the end of February 2023 after nearly four years at the post. This was followed by his nine-year-long stint in the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MCA), where he oversaw airports as well as economic affairs.
