Mumbai Indians camp was in a happy mood after their first win of the season against Rajasthan Royals. Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and his overseas specialist speedster Riley Meredith were seen joking around in practice.

In one bowling session, Meredith was recorded on camera saying that Bumrah had promised the pacer an I-pad if he was able to catch a yorker. Meredith was seen running at full speed in ambitions of getting a free iPad, but managed to miss a long distance. The fast bowler managed to bowl a short full toss which was pasted directly over the bowler’s head by the batsman.

Even though he missed a yorker in the nets this time around, he was quite quick against the Rajasthan Royals. Meredith was one of the bowlers to register figures of 4-0-24-2 in the game against Rajasthan. He not only picked up two crucial lower-order wickets but also kept players like Jos Buttler calm to ensure that Rajasthan were never ahead of the game.

MI has already said that they will try to create some disturbance in the final days of the group stage of the IPL. They will face Gujarat Titans on Friday, May 6.
