Meet Dhina, the owner of a tea shop in Chennai. They have set up a unique tea stall near the popular hotspot Marina Beach.
The beach is usually full of tea shops and eateries. But Dina knew that her shop had to stand out from the others.
Everyone around him served beverages in plastic, paper or glass. But Dhina chose to serve tea or coffee in natural cutlery.
Now they serve beverages in cups made of coconut husks. In the beginning, he bought a lot of cups and started this venture
But over time, he found that this was not viable and at the same time hired some people specially for the shop to make coconut shells
Now he uses around 60-70 cups in the shop.
Dhina also believes that using coconut husks as cutlery is healthier for people.
He also offers black coffee every Monday for just Re 1 despite inflation and rising costs
