However, if you are one of those people who don’t have that much time, don’t fret. There are many easy options where you don’t have to wait too long. One such easy-to-make recipe is Bun Dosa. This quick dosa recipe can be your favorite snack any day. After all, it is always better to have snacks than many other deep fried dishes that require minimal oil.

Instant Dosa Recipe | How to make Bun Dosa:

material:

For the bun dosa batter

  • Murmure – 2 cups
  • Sooji / Rava – 1 cup
  • Fresh curd – 1 cup
  • Salt – 1 tbsp
  • baking soda

for chutney

  • Green chili – 3
  • Roasted Peanuts – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves – 5
  • Dry Coconut Powder – 4 tbsp
  • Green Coriander – 1/2 cup
  • Fresh curd – 3 tbsp
  • salt to taste

tempering for chutney

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1/2 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1/2 tbsp
  • curry leaves
  • hinge
  • For Tadka Bun Dosa
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Rye – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Green chili – 3
  • chopped curry leaves

Here’s How You Can Make Bun Dosa

  1. First of all, take Murmura in a bowl. Make a powder by grinding the puffed rice.
  2. Add semolina (rava) and curd to the ground puffed rice. Add salt as per your taste and start mixing everything well.
  3. You can use a little water if you want. Do not add a lot of water at once. Keep adding little by little and keep stirring until the consistency of batter is formed. Cover it with a lid and keep it for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare a delicious chutney. For this take a grinding jar – add finely chopped green chilies, roasted peanuts, garlic cloves, dry coconut powder and coriander leaves and then add fresh curd. At last add salt and make a paste. Chutney is ready.
  5. Add a tadka to it to enhance the taste of the chutney. For this take a tadka pan and heat some oil in it. After mustard, add urad dal and curry leaves. Mix well. Add a pinch of asafoetida and pour tempering over the chutney.
  6. Check the batter of murmura prepared by you. You have to add tempering to the batter. Heat some oil in a separate tadka pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, green chillies and chopped curry leaves. Mix them well. Once done, pour the tempering into the batter. Add eno to the solution, and add a little water to it to activate it. Mix the batter well.
  7. For bun dosa, take a pan, kadhai or tawa and grease it with a little oil. Once the pan is hot, put a ladle full of batter in the center of the pan. You will see that it will automatically expand into a slightly circular shape.
  8. Cover the pan with a lid and let the bun dosa cook for two minutes. Once this is done, flip it over and follow the same process on the other side. Cook till golden brown from both the sides. Make as many bun dosas as you want.
  9. Serve hot with chutney.
