Arjun Babuta, a student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) has won the international gold medal in the 10m air rifle final at a Shooting World Cup held in Korea. The MA student in Journalism and Mass Communication represented India and won the gold medal on the very first day. The university said he overtook Tokyo Olympic silver medalist Lukas Kozeniski of the United States with a 17-9 final victory effort in a one-sided contest.
Shooting competitions in rifle, pistol, shotgun have been organized by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) in Changwon, Korea, which will continue till July 21.
