Terming the new excise policy as harsh, the contractors have threatened to move the high court against it and have also decided not to participate in the state government’s pre-bid meeting for liquor retail clusters to be held in Chandigarh tomorrow.
The contractors have also accused the AAP government of making such a policy which will benefit the selected liquor traders who according to them are close to you.
The contractors also alleged that the AAP government has increased the license fee for liquor clusters from Rs 7-8 crore per group to around Rs 30-35 crore and destroyed the entire liquor business with such a huge percentage increase. will be given.
