“Maa Tujhe Salaam”: Anand Mahindra Shares Video Of Bird Defending Egg From Excavator

Fields of literature have been devoted to the unconditional love of mothers and myriad shades of motherhood. So when a video showing the strength of a determined mother surfaced on social media, it went viral in no time. And this is no ordinary mother. It is, in fact, a bird attempting to defend its eggs in the face of imminent danger. The video also found a fan of industrialist Anand Mahindra, who shared the clip on his Twitter timeline. Mahindra Group Chairman uploaded the clip with a single line caption, “Mother, I salute you (Thank you, mother).”

In the video a bird is walking around its eggs and thinking. Soon, a digger is crossing a mud road and getting dangerously close to the eggs. As this happens, the bird chirps loudly in an attempt to stop the vehicle from moving over the egg. Even as the digger approaches the egg, the bird continues to chirp while expanding its wings.

With the chirping of the avian, the excavation goes back and forth. Finally, the excavator moves away from the bird and its eggs.

Responding to the post, a user said, ‘No one can give love and affection like a mother.
