Mac Studio and Studio Display were unveiled at a virtual Apple event on Tuesday (March 8). The new equipment is targeted at professionals who want to upgrade their existing gear. The Mac Studio sits atop the M1-powered Mac Mini and outperforms the current Intel-based Mac Pro. It is equipped with the M1 Max or the newly unveiled M1 Ultra SoCs. The Apple Studio Display comes in the form of the company’s latest external display. It is powered by the Apple A13 chip to handle some processing tasks natively.
Mac Studio, Apple Studio display price in India
MAC Studio price in India is Rs. 1,89,900 for the base variant which comes with M1 Max SoC, 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD. If you want the M1 Ultra SoC, the prices start at Rs. 3,89,900 with 64GB RAM and 1TB SSD.
On the other hand, the Apple Studio Display price in India is Rs. 1,59,900 with Standard Glass and Rs. 1,89,900 with nano-textured glass.
Both the Mac Studio and Apple Studio Display are listed on the Apple online store in India and will ship in a matter of weeks.
In the US, the Mac Studio M1 Max with 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD (approximately Rs 1,50,100 before tax) and the M1 Ultra with 64GB RAM (approximately Rs 3,00,300) will start at $3,999. , while the Apple Studio Display will start at $1,500 (roughly Rs. 1,12,600).
Mac Studio Specifications
Mac Studio is small in size mac pro and is designed to look like mac mini, but long. It’s made of aluminum and has the Apple logo on top, as well as a USB Type-C or Thunderbolt port, and an SDXC card slot on the front. The device also includes ports on the back including 10Gb Ethernet, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 and two USB-A ports. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apart from this, the Mac Studio has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 connectivity options.

The Mac Studio comes equipped with 32GB of integrated memory and starts with a 512GB SSD. The M1 Ultra SoC will have 20 CPU cores and 64 GPU cores, and can support up to 128GB of unified RAM and 8TB of SSD storage. The top-end configuration with M1 Ultra SoC, 128GB RAM and 8TB SSD is priced at Rs. 7,89,900 in India.
The machine is approximately 94 mm long and 195 mm wide.

The Apple Studio Display comes in at 27 inches in size and has 5K resolution with 600nits of brightness and True Tone for color adjustments based on ambient conditions. This is in contrast to the Pro Display XDR, which features a 32-inch 6K (6,016×3,384 pixels) display with a pixel density of 218ppi. The panel of Apple Studio Display is also claimed to deliver true 10-bit color and super-wide viewing angles.
