Madhuri Dixit Nene-starrer “Maaja Ma” will premiere on Prime Video on October 6, it was announced on Wednesday.

Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals, Prime Video, said the team is thrilled to bring its “first Indian Amazon Original film” to its diverse customers.
Purohit said in a statement, “Entering our original film production here in India was a natural progression as we believe it opens up yet another opportunity to serve our clients super with the utmost entertainment that delights them. and attaches.”
He further added that “Maaja Ma” is the first of many original films to be launched directly on his service.
Purohit said, “This film is also special for us as it showcases the strength of a female protagonist and her conviction, which is beautifully portrayed on screen by Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit.”
Tiwari said he is happy to see Indian content reaching audiences across the globe.

The film is produced by Leo Media Collective and Amritpal Singh Bindra.
Bindra said that he is looking forward to his second collaboration with Prime Video, “Maaja Ma”, after the success of “Bandish Bandits” (2020).
The upcoming film also stars Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmick, Barkha Singh, Srishti Srivastava, Rajit Kapoor, Sheeba Chadha, Simone Singh, Malhar Thakar and Ninad Kamat.
