Madhya Pradesh’s Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday announced construction of Vindhya Expressway to connect state capital Bhopal with Singrauli and develop industrial area around it. Scindia said that the proposed airport in Rewa was earlier available for 20 seaters, but he has now authorized it for 72 seaters. The Union Minister said that under the PM-UDAN scheme, 1.15 crore people availed the benefit of air travel at affordable prices. Chouhan and Scindia laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 747 crore in Rewa.
