Regarding the death toll, he said four co-morbid patients have died so far due to the mosquito-borne viral infection.

“Anyone suffering from fever, body aches, rashes, joint pain or retro-orbital pain (back of the eye) should consult a doctor within 24 hours,” he said.

He advised people to use mosquito nets while sleeping, wear full-sleeved clothes and change water in containers at homes every seven days.
