Madurai MP demands postponement of NEET PG exam 2022

MP Mr. Venkatesan, in a memorandum to the Union Health Minister, said that the NEET PG exam was scheduled on March 12, even as the PG counseling for 2021 was taking place between March 11 and 16.

Madurai MP Su. Venkatesan has appealed to the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya to postpone the NEET PG Examination 2022.

In a memorandum, the MP has said that the online disengagement round for counseling of All India Quota/Central and Deemed/PG Diplomate of National Board (DNB) seats has been scheduled from March 11 to 16. The completion of 2021 counseling is not the fault of the candidates. In this situation, the NEET PG 2022 exam date has been announced, and it is scheduled for March 12 – even before the conclusion of NEET PG counseling 2021.

Many of the candidates who are attending the counseling after NEET PG 2022 on the said dates are afraid that they may have to waste one year due to the clash of dates.

Stating that it was unfair, and the decision to hold the exam before the end of last year’s counselling was taken without application of mind, the MP said the Communist Party of India (Marxist) sought the intervention of the Union Minister Is. To postpone the NEET PG exam by at least one month.
