Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to meet Covid-19 task force today

News agency Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to chair the state’s Covid-19 task force meeting today ANI tweeted.

Maharashtra recorded 1,715 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. According to the state health bulletin, the total active cases in the state are 28,631. Mumbai Zero death due to COVID-19 was recorded on Sunday for the first time since the pandemic began in March last year.

“Good News: Mumbai has recorded zero covid deaths today for the first time since 26th March 2020. Keep a face mask on and if you haven’t vaccinated yet help us keep Mumbai safe, we are here to serve You are! Maharashtra Environment Minister and Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister Aaditya Thackeray tweeted.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Sunday said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will take a decision on easing of COVID-19 restrictions in the state after Diwali with the health department and task force.

“After Diwali, based on the Covid positive cases in the state, CM Uddhav Thackeray will take a decision along with the health department and task force to provide more relaxations in the COVID-19 restrictions.” ANI quoted Rajesh Tope as saying.
