Maharashtra HSC result at mahresult.nic.in: Websites to check, marks required to pass

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education (MSBSHSE) is all set to declare the results of HSC or class 12 board exams today at 1 PM. The result will be declared first through a press conference and thereafter will be available in online mode. Students can download their mark sheet from the official websites.

The exam was conducted offline from March 4 and April 7 for over 15 lakh students across the state. MSBSHSE had reduced 25 percent of the Class 12 syllabus in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Maharashtra Board Class 12 results were delayed due to teachers’ strike, despite exams being held on time. Once declared, the MSBSHSE HSC results will be made available to the students online on the official website of the board.

Maha HSC Result 2022: Passing Marks

To be declared passed in Maharashtra Board Class 12 or HSC, candidates need to secure a minimum of 35 per cent marks in each subject. Students who fail to obtain passing marks in maximum two subjects have the option to appear in the supplementary examination and improve their marks. The date of supplementary examinations will be announced after the result of MSBSHSE HSC Result 2022

This year, the number of passing out students is set to decline as last year, recorded MSBSHSE All-time high pass percentage and 99.63 percent The total number of students who appeared in the exam were declared passed. Of the total 13,14,965 passed students, over 6.88 lakh secured 75 per cent and over 5.23 lakh secured first division. While the board recorded an almost perfect result, the pass percentage in girls was slightly better at 99.93% as compared to 99.54 percent in boys. The result of Science branch was 99.55%, Arts was 99.83% and commerce was 99.91%. A total of 6542 schools across Maharashtra registered 100% result.

Konkan Division recorded the highest pass result of 99.91 percent while Aurangabad was the least performing region with 99.73 pass result.

Notably, last year, the exam was canceled and MSBSHSE evaluated students on the basis of 40:30:30 evaluation methodology; Which means the final marks were calculated by giving 40 per cent weightage to the internal assessment of class 12 and 30 per cent weightage each to the results of class 10 and 11.
