Dera was detained late on Monday night based on information received by the police during the probe into alleged irregularities in the 2020 Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), in which MSCE commissioner Tukaram Supe was arrested last week, a Pune official said. . He said that the police have also recovered unaccounted cash and gold ornaments worth more than two crore rupees from Supe.

Six persons have already been arrested, police said, adding that the alleged tampering in TET came to light during the probe into the leak of a paper of Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) exam.
