Mahindra XUV700 bookings have crossed the 65,000 mark since the first order book opened earlier this month. Meanwhile, the deliveries of the petrol variant will start from October 30.

NS Mahindra XUV700 The automaker has confirmed that bookings have crossed the 65,000 mark in the two-week period since the order book opened. Mahindra started accepting bookings on October 7, 2021 and received 25,000 orders in a span of one hour on the same day. The company received the next 25,000 orders on October 8. Since then an additional 15,000 orders have been received. Mahindra has also announced that it will start deliveries of the petrol variant from October 30, while the deliveries of the diesel variant will start in the last week of November.

Seeing the huge demand, the automaker has partnered with one of the top three global consulting companies to design and implement an algorithm-based process to streamline delivery for customers. The deliveries will be based on a combination of parameters including booking volume at the dealer counters, online and booking ratio at dealer counters and variant-level production feasibility based on supply chain constraints, the automaker said in a statement.
Delivery schedules may change depending on the global supply chain landscape
The delivery deadline for both petrol and diesel variants from October 27 will be communicated to the customers by their respective dealerships. However, this date may change depending on the current global supply chain scenario, Mahindra said in its statement.

Meanwhile, customers can still book the XUV700 at dealerships or online. But prices will remain the same at the time of delivery, the automaker said. The new Mahindra XUV700 is priced from ₹ 12.49 Lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to ₹ 22.89 Lakh for the top-spec variant. There are over 20 trims available to choose from. Power on the SUV comes from a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both the mills are mated to manual and automatic transmission options.
