Mahindra launched the XUV700 in October 2021 and since then the company has been overwhelmed with the response to the SUV, receiving over 50,000 bookings in just 3 hours after the booking window opened online. The company today announced that the XUV700 has received over 1 lakh bookings in just 4 months since the launch of the car.

The deliveries of the petrol variant of Mahindra XUV700 have been prioritized and they started in the last week of October, while the deliveries of the diesel version started in late November 2021. Talking about the waiting period during the Q3 financial results, Vijay Nakra, CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “Supply of semi-conductors will continue to be an issue and we do not see any signs of normalcy for the next 6-9 months. There will be a longer waiting period on XUV700 and Thar, but overall, if you look at the high demand models, the waiting period is more than 6 months, but it will take some time to bring this waiting period down.”
