Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai is now a graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, London. She achieved this feat nine years after she was shot by the Taliban for campaigning for girls’ education in her homeland, Pakistan. Sharing photos of herself from her graduation ceremony on Instagram, in which she appeared to be the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner, Joyce wrote, “Something was said Latin and apparently I have a degree.” Ms Yousafzai can be seen posing in a cap and gown with her proud parents and husband Asar Malik at the university.

Ms. Yousafzai’s post has garnered over 8.32 lakh likes and many congratulatory messages so far.

American actress Kristen Bell commented, “Congratulations for your hard work and dedication – the world is so lucky to have you.”

“Congratulations,” commented the University of Oxford.

“Congratulations. You are an inspiration to many young girls. Goals, hard work, faith and dedication, the key to success,” said one Instagram user.

Another said, “You look gorgeous Malala, you are my childhood inspiration.”

A third said, “Congratulations. And what a wonderful Oxford background.”

Oxford University’s graduation ceremony was initially scheduled for May 2020, but had to be delayed Due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The celebrations then moved to September this year.

Ms Yousafzai married Mr Malik, a manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board, in a low-key ceremony in Birmingham on 9 November. In a tweet, he then wrote, “We celebrated a small nikah ceremony with our families at home in Birmingham. ,

In 2014, Ms Yousafzai became Youngest Nobel Peace Prize Winner, only at the age of 17. She was born in Pakistan. On 9 October 2012, she was shot in the head by a Taliban terrorist for campaigning for girls’ education in Pakistan. He was taken to the UK for treatment. She settled there and continued her studies.
