Mamta Banerjee will come to Delhi today, may meet PM Modi, opposition leaders

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will reach the national capital Delhi at around 5 pm on Monday. She will come here on a four-day visit to Delhi and is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress party president Sonia Gandhi and other opposition leaders.

CM Banerjee’s visit is believed to be part of her efforts to strengthen the unity of opposition parties against PM Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the 2024 general elections.

Banerjee’s visit to the capital comes days before the winter session. Parliament Which is going to start from 29th November.

Banerjee had visited Delhi in July this year. This was his first visit after the Trinamool Congress returned to power in the Bengal assembly elections.

During his last visit to Delhi, he had met P Modi.

TMC chief likely to visit in December Mumbai To attract investment in West Bengal, according to PTI news agency.

“During his visit to Mumbai, the chief minister is likely to meet some of the top industrialists and invite them to the Bengal Global Business Summit,” the agency said.

The business summit will be held on April 20-21 after a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
