Man, 73, wanted in robbery case, arrested after 32 years: Mumbai Police

Mumbai:

A 73-year-old man, wanted in a robbery case registered 32 years ago in suburban Borivali, was arrested on Saturday. The city police gave this information.

An official of Borivali police station said that the accused was arrested from neighboring Bhayander where he was staying.

He was declared a proclaimed offender by the city’s Dindoshi court and asked the police to produce him before the court.

The alleged robbery took place in 1990. Now he has been arrested under sections of the Indian Penal Code including 392 (dacoity), 397 (dacoity), 120-B (conspiracy).
