Man bought TVS scooter by paying Rs 50,000 coin; Dealership Staff Goes in for Bonkers Counting

From time to time, Indians have shown the skill of getting their attention. This time, a person is buying TVS Jupiter with Rs 10 coins which cost Rs 50,000. The man paid the downpayment for TVS Jupiter with just coins. The incident took place in Uttarakhand’s Rudrapur, in which the person handed over a total of 5,000 coins. In the video, the dealership staff of the authorized TVS showroom can be seen counting the coins. While the video has already gone viral on social media, it is catching the attention of netizens. Also, this isn’t the first time someone has done something like this.

In the past too, people have been using weird ways of paying to buy a car or a motorcycle. However, as per the new RBI norms, payments up to Rs 2 lakh can be accepted only in cash, after which the dealership can charge additional tax. As for TVS Jupiter, the scooter can be purchased by paying full in cash as it is priced from Rs 69,990 to Rs 85,246.

Talking about the scooter, it is available in two engine options – 110 cc and 125 cc, both of which use a CVT unit. The first is available in a total of 5 variants, and its motor churns out a peak power output of 7.9PS and a maximum torque of 8.8Nm. The scooter rides on a set of 12-inch rims, which can be an alloy or steel rim, depending on the type you choose.
