Man dies minutes after scuffle in Bengaluru, murder case registered

A 26-year-old man died minutes after he was involved in a scuffle over a minor issue near his office on Saturday. While it is being speculated that he died of a heart attack, his father has filed a police complaint alleging murder against another person involved in the assault, on the basis of which the police registered a murder case. and is investigating the matter further.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Sudarshan Rao, a resident of Byathrayanapura, who works in a private firm in Kasavanahalli.

According to the police, on Saturday afternoon, as usual, he came from his third floor office to the bakery located on the ground floor and went to buy cigarettes. However, the owner of the bakery was out for lunch and instead asked the neighboring shopkeeper Ramachandra Reddy to look after the shop.

When Mr. Rao said that he knew the owner of the bakery very well and proceeded to take a cigarette from the shop, Reddy objected and a fight ensued between the two, and the fight was captured on a nearby CCTV camera. Went.

After other people rushed to separate the two, Mr. Rao returned to the third-floor office and collapsed in his chair a few minutes later.

Bellandur police said that there were no external injury marks on the body and autopsy was done and the report is awaited.

However, as his father was accused of murder, the Balandur police have booked Reddy for murder.
