Vadodara : A woman living in vadasari On Saturday, the daughter-in-law’s ex-boyfriend stabbed to death in the area.
According to the police the accused Shahrukh Pathanresident of newyard Bhawna went to Parmar’s house in the city area, with whom she was having an affair before marriage. After marriage, Bhavna broke all relations with Pathan.
On Saturday morning both Bhavna’s husband and father-in-law had gone to work and she was at home with her mother-in-law Daksh Parmar (45). After finishing the housework, Bhavna went to rest in her room at around 2.30 pm. Meanwhile, someone knocked on the door.
When Daksha opened the door, Pathan hit him on the neck. Pathan then told Bhavna that he had killed her mother-in-law, and that if he filed a complaint against her, he would kill her husband and father-in-law as well. When Bhavna tries to get out of the house, Pathan holds her and says that he loves her. Pathan also snatched his mobile.
However, Bhavna barged into her neighbors’ house and locked it from inside. From there he informed the police about the incident.
After the incident, Pathan, who escaped from the house, was caught by the police within one and a half hours.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Yashpal Jaganiya He said that Bhavna broke up with Pathan after marriage, but he was still following her. “Recently, she filed an application with the police alleging that Pathan was harassing her. The police had also taken action against Pathan after the application.
Police is probing why Pathan targeted Bhavna’s mother-in-law.
