A 38-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his live-in partner over a personal issue in outer Delhi’s Bhalswa, the Delhi Police said on June 19.
The accused, Vijay Ram, approached the police on June 18 and surrendered before them. he confessed that he had beat up your partner He was killed during a scuffle and on the night of June 17, officials said.
Thereafter, the police reached Ram’s house where they found the body of woman Santoshi Devi in the bathroom.

According to the police, Ram and Devi had been living together for nearly four years and have a two-year-old daughter. Rama had four children from his ex-wife and Devi had four children from her first marriage. All nine children stayed with the couple.
DCP (Outer North) Brijendra Kumar Yadav said that the couple used to have small fights over who would look after the children. After a similar scuffle on Friday night, Rama strangled the goddess to death and wrapped her body in a cloth. A case has been registered against him under IPC sections related to murder and destruction of evidence.
