Manipur imposed night curfew as the cases of Kovid increased. Check Other Restrictions

Omicron Scare: In view of the increasing cases of Omicron in the country, Manipur government imposed night curfew from 9 pm to 4 am on Wednesday. The state has also banned concerts, thabal chongba (folk dance), festive feasts, large gatherings of people in arenas or indoor halls.

Cambridge University, which predicted the second Covid wave in India, now has a warning

The order issued by the state home department said that wearing face masks in public places, gatherings and crowded areas is an important COVID appropriate behavior and should be strictly enforced and violators should be punished.

“This order is in continuation of the order of even number dated 27.12.2021 and shall remain in force till 31.01.2022,” the order said.

The highly permeable variant, Omicron, has been leading to an increase in the number of COVID cases in the country. Till now, around 800 cases have been reported in India and the number is increasing rapidly.
