Maruti announces winners of Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab: What is Mail Program – Times of India

maruti suzuki India Limited has announced the five winners of batch Its Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab’s 6 (Match) Program. Out of the five winners, top 3 startups- mSense, Automaxis, and Keploy will do paid proof-of-concept (PoC) with Maruti Suzuki. PoC will help in assessing the feasibility of solutions in real-world situations.
“In the latest round (cohort 6) of the event, startups showcased interesting and innovative technology solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence and data analytics. We are excited to further explore the power of technology,” said Hisashi Takechi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti suzuki India Limited said.
Applications are open for Cohort 8
Maruti Suzuki is now inviting applications for Cohort 8 of the Male Programme. Applications are open for startups offering solutions in the digital, technology, mobility and automobile sectors.
Shortlisted startups get an opportunity to work with Maruti Suzuki to turn their innovative ideas into practical solutions. Startups are guided and mentored by industry experts from the domestic and international startup ecosystem. Select startups get a chance to do paid proof-of-concept (PoC) with Maruti Suzuki.

What is the mail program of Maruti Suzuki?
Maruti Suzuki’s Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab (MAIL) program, launched in 2019, focuses on areas such as computer vision, artificial intelligence, speech analytics, augmented/virtual/extended reality, bluetooth mesh and robotics. Over 1,000 budding-stage start-ups have been screened in five clusters and worked with 33 start-ups. Paid Proof of Concept has been conducted with 19 startups.
Eight startups, namely Xane.AI, Sensegiz, Davis.AI, Rezo, Enmovil, Urja, Amalgo Labs, and Peer Robotics, are included as business partners. The program has entered the sixth group.
Mail provides mentorship to startups through various programs. Additionally, the team thoroughly validates their solutions, builds from concept phase to pilot phase, and provides going-to-market support together. The program is also supported by the Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund which provides startups with an opportunity to secure strategic investments and funding.
