The Maruti XL6 top-spec variant is around Rs 3.15 lakh cheaper than the Kia Carence top trim, which costs around Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Currently, the Kia Carens is the most powerful offering a maximum power output of 140 hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine of Kia Carens generates 250 Nm of peak torque. In terms of transmission too, the Kia Carense has the upper hand as it offers a 7-speed DCT. The new Maruti XL6 now gets a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission and paddle shifters. Considering the pricing and specifications, the 2022 Maruti XL6 could also be a potential rival to the Kia Carrens and Mahindra Marazzo.
