London: Marie Bouzkova reached him first Grand Slam in the quarter finals Wimbledon on sunday when he winded past Caroline Garcia of France in straight sets.
The 23-year-old Czech won 7-5, 6-2 against big serve García, whose challenge was cut short by 25 unforced errors in four of his opponents.
“I don’t know how I got here,” said world number 66 Buzkova.
“Now we’ll celebrate with strawberries and cream. It’s one of our 100 routines at Wimbledon.”
For a place in the semi-finals, Buzkova will face either world number two Ons Jabeur of Tunisia or Elise Mertens of Belgium.
