Priests in Mathura have demanded a ban on Sunny Leone’s latest video album, accusing the Bollywood actress of hurting her religious sentiments by performing the iconic “obscene” dance.Radhika dancing in Madhuban” Song.

The song was originally sung by Mohammad Rafi for the 1960 film Kohinoor.

Saint Naval Giri Maharaj of Vrindavan said, “We will go to court if the government does not act against the actress and ban her video album.”

Mahesh Pathak, national president of Akhil Bharatiya Teerth Purohit Mahasabha, also objected to Ms Leone’s dance video, saying she has tarnished the reputation of Brijbhoomi by presenting the song in an “derogatory manner”.
