Special MP, MLA Court at Palamu, Jharkhand acquitted Lalu Yadav of all charges by imposing a fine of Rs 6000 in the 2009 MCC violation case. “After hearing a petition filed by former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, the court imposed a fine of six thousand rupees on him. The matter has been disposed of and he is now free of cost,” said Lalu Prasad Yadav’s lawyer. Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav appeared before the special MP, MLA court in Palamu on June 8 in the 2009 Model Code of Conduct violation case.
