Meet 10-year-old Aksa Masrat, one of the youngest social media influencers in Kashmir

A 10-year-old girl from Kashmir is creating panic on social media with her attractive YouTube video. Aqsa Masrat, a student of Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin Sopore, is touted as the youngest social media influencer in the Kashmir Valley as she has mesmerized hundreds of thousands of people with her captivating videos.

The little girl regularly posts videos titled ‘What Aksa Says’ on her social media pages. He has over 2,800 subscribers on YouTube, while he has more than 58,000 followers on Facebook. In the video, Aksa not only speaks about the natural beauty of her home state, but she also uses her social media to draw attention to the problems in her community.

According to news agency ANIAksa was just 6 years old when she made her first video, which is about ‘Chilloi Kallan’ – the harshest forty days of winter in Kashmir.

Speaking about the clip, she said, “I wanted kids my age to enjoy it and relate it to a real life incident, so I decided to make a video about Chillai Kallan… it’s mine. The first was a random video. There was an unexpected reaction from the public. I was encouraged to make more videos like this.”

Now, Aksa reveals that she has made around 50 videos so far and has received immense support from the audience during her journey. He said that he has made videos that show how crops are grown and harvested in Kashmir. He has also made videos explaining why it is important to play sports for a healthy life.

Aksa said, “My videos like Sopore fruit market, paddy harvesting, kangri got me millions of views. In fact, one of my videos ‘Mere Mamu Ki Shaadi’ got me over a million views. People liked my videos. Praising.” Told ANI,

Moreover, the 10-year-old said that while many people love her work, she faced some problems from the people around her. But recalling how his family helped him, Aksa said, “There are many people around me who have inspired me to improve myself, but when it comes to making videos, I have to go to my uncle ( Mamu), an internationally acclaimed photojournalist.”

A 10 year old girl is currently studying in class 5. Talking about her future, she said that she aspires to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.
