“In July 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short time. A relationship ignorant of work and sacrifice needs us but is intoxicated with love. And karma,” Fox wrote in the caption.
“Somehow after a year and a half, after going through Hell together, and laughing more than I thought, he asked me to marry him. And as in every life before it, and in every life that followed it Will happen after, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood,” she said.
According to the 35-year-old actor’s post, the couple got engaged on January 11.
Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, also shared a photo of Fox’s engagement ring on Instagram.
“Yes, in this life and in every life. Under the same branches we fell in love, I brought her back and asked her to marry,” wrote the 31-year-old rapper.
Kelly said the engagement ring included a diamond and an emerald in honor of her birthstones.
“I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (his birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that form a come together as the two halves of the fuzzy heart-making soul that is our love,” he said.
Fox and Kelly met in March 2020 while working on the set of the crime drama ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass’.
Fox was previously married to actor Brian Austin Green from 2010 until their split in May 2020. The former couple has three sons – Noah, nine, Bodhi, seven, and Journey, five.
Kelly is the father of 12-year-old daughter Cassie from his previous relationship with Emma Cannon.
